11 Dec Don’t Trust on Church but God
Many today believe going to church alone will give them salvation. Many just attend church on Sundays just to hear someone read from the Bible that they never read for themselves. Some just attend church in order to make sure they have a spot in Heaven. However the Bible makes it clear that going to church is not sufficient into making it in Heaven. For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. – Romans 2:13.
Don’t Just be Hearer of the Word
So it is those who not only go to church but act on what they are being taught who are made righteous by God. So if you claim to be a Christian but still living in a sinful lifestyle knowingly, you are fooling yourself. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. – James 1:23-24. So don’t just be a hearer of the word but a doer of the word.
It Starts With You

Church is Not Afterlife Insurance
Just going to church is not going to assure your place in Heaven. Establishing a relationship with Jesus Christ will. In order to make Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior, you must need to have a relationship with him. In order to establish a relationship you must read the Bible daily, pray, and be open to hear from the Holy Spirit. Be open to your new transformation as a person.
